Coastland Churches Walk

Our next walk will be on the morning of Saturday 20th June at 10.00am.
Long Nanny walk
Meet at 10.00am in the free car park in High Newton, on the right as you enter the village (What3words: official.shack.educates). We will walk north along the coast as far as the tern colony at the Long Nanny and return along a level track through the dunes (wild flowers and orchids) and a quiet road. The walk is just over four miles in all. There are no public toilets but the Joiners’ Arms is near the car park or stop at Embleton Parish Room toilet beforehand. NB Dogs on leads at all times and not allowed into the tern viewing area, but can wait at the gate.

This is an informal walking group and all participants take part at their own risk.
The walks will be usually on the third Saturday of each month (but no walk in August).
